‘PANACHE’ - ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATIONS

The Army is the true nobility of a
country. Their courage and bravery is nonpareil. With
these sentimentsIndia International School,
Mansarovarcelebrated its Annual Day on Sunday, the 2nd
December, 2018 amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation.
Justice MunishBhandari, was the Hon’ble Chief Guest on
the occasion. Among other dignitaries present were the
guest of honor- brg.Sandeep Singh Gulia, Special guests
from defense forces, Press, and Parents.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the
ceremonial lamp by the Hon’ble Chief Guest escorted by
the other dignitaries, school Director and the
Principal. This was followed by GaneshVandana. The
Director, Mr. Ashok Gupta welcomed the guests. School
Principal, Ms Mala Agnihotri shared the achievements of
the school in the Annual report. This was followed by
the Awards Ceremony, where the Hon’ble Chief Guest gave
away prizes to the meritorious pupils of the school
under various categories.
The Cultural programme based on the theme ‘Jazbaa- the
inclination to do or die’ was a tribute to the passion,
commitment and sacrifices of the Indian defense forces
signifying that an Indian’s love for their motherland is
unmatched and paramount. The presence of Army officers
at the occasion filled the hearts of the audience with
pride. The English skit-‘Hamlet’ was an enactment of the
idea ‘To be or not to be’, signifying the deadly
consequences of indecision and revenge as well as
suggesting that in a fallen world, reality often fails
to match the ideal.
The Chief Guest Justice MunishBhandari was superlative
in his appreciation of the students’ classic programme
presented. He stated that he felt highly honoured and
elated to have witnessed the programme. He lauded the
vision and the relentless hard work done by students and
their mentors for presenting such a message oriented
programme and blessed the students.
The school Director, Dr Ashok Gupta presented mementos
to the dignitaries as a token of love and gratitude.The
Vote of thanks was proposed by the Vice- Principal, Ms
NidhiMishra. The programme culminated with the National
Anthem.
