Guest lecture on “Indian Fiscal Policy and its impact on Indian Economy”

A guest lecture was organized by Faculty of Commerce and Management (Department of Financial Studies) on “Indian fiscal policy and its impact on Indian Economy” by the students of B. Com. on Saturday 29^th August 2009. Prof. Tandon shared his views on fiscal system in present scenario. To increase the responsiveness of the students he discussed Indian Fiscal Policies, Budget preparation & its presentation in parliament. He also emphasized on types of expenditure, revenue, and problem of developing economy in comparison to other countries, contribution of service sector & mobilization of resources to accelerate economy of India. The lecture was followed by interaction with the students. The students actively participate in this lecture to enhance their knowledge and satisfy their queries. Finally the lecture was very useful to cope up the students with the present scenario of fiscal system and world economy.
