Independence Day, August 15^th commemorates the day in 1947 when India achieved freedom from British rule. It is an occasion to rejoice our freedom and to pay homage to all those people who sacrificed their lives to the cause.

I-Day was celebrated with full gaiety and patriotic spirit at the Play house , IIS. The kiddies recited poems and speeches with confidence and enthusiasm and kindled the spirit of patriotism among the fellow students. They showed their patriotic fervour by singing ‘Takat Watan Ki' waving flags and dressed in colourful costumes.
