FIT INDIA WEEK
India International School celebrated the
Fit India Week with great gusto and enthusiasm. The
celebrations included involvement of all classes. A
varied range of activities were taken up during the week
ranging from exercises, yoga to sports and games. Our
partner state is Assam and students were exposed to
indigeneous games of Assam like DhopKhel, Tang Guti and
the like. Students tried to find out how similar of
different these games were from our games. The
activities were not limited to only on field ones, other
activities like poster making on the topic- “Fit
Body-Fit Mind- Fit Environment “were also done. Other
activities taken up for mental fitness were a lecture on
fitness followed by an essay writing competition.
Students enthusiastically participated in a quiz
competition held on day 5 of the fitness week.
All in all it was a wonderful celebration by the
students and the staff.
