Smart Internal Hackathon

On September 9, 2024 the institute organized an “Internal Hackathon for Smart India Hackthon-2024”. The institute has provided a platform to the students under the initiative taken by Ministry of Education (MoE) in Joint collaboration with All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) to organize a nationwide initiative Smart India Hackathon 2024. The initiative is aimed at solving some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem solving.

The teams participated enthusiastically and top performing teams were shortlisted to compete in the Internal Hackathon for Smart India Hackathon-2024. Students’ presented their innovative ideas in the form of software solutions and presentations for the problems given by various Ministries, Departments, Industries, PSUs and NGOs. The judges for the event were Mr. Rohit Mehta, Practice Head - Quality and Automation Testing at Pratham Software, Mr. Shrish Tomer, Project Manager at Startbit IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd, Ms. Nisha Rani, Senior, QA lead at Metacube Software Pvt. Ltd. They judged the activity on the basis of idea presentations and software execution. The esteemed judges mentored and evaluated all the participating teams and certificates were provided to winning teams in Internal SIH 2024.

The teams will compete for the next level of SIH 2024 to be held in October 2024.
