Brandvolution: Brand Legacy & Advertising Evolution
IIIM organised “Brandvolution: Brand Legacy & Advertising Evolution” on April 2, 2025, in collaboration with its Genesis- The Marketing Club, E-Cell E-Igniters, TEIIC, and the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC).
This engaging and insightful program challenged students to explore the rich marketing journeys of India’s most iconic and time-tested brands—Amul, Nirma, Boroline, MDH, and more—each with a legacy spanning over four decades. Through a blend of historical research and contemporary analysis, participants examined how these brands have evolved, adapting their strategies from print and television ads to digital storytelling in the modern era.
More than just a research project, Brandvolution became a creative sprint and a strategic dive into the heart of India’s advertising heritage. Students not only reflected on past campaigns but also developed innovative marketing strategies tailored to today’s youth, ensuring relevance in a rapidly changing consumer landscape.
By crafting presentations, showcasing iconic ads, and creating new-age campaigns, the participants played an active role in shaping the future narrative of Indian branding. The winner of Brandvolution were Priya Kaushik, Abhilasha Gaur, Tarun Tiwari, Deepak Sharma, Khushi Khandelwal and Runners-ups wereSomiyaMulchandani, Archie Agrawal, Pooja Bhagwani,Tushar Magnani, NeeleshPamnani.
