Workshop on ‘Sustainability’

On September 9, 2025, IIIM organized a workshop on ‘Sustainability’ conducted by Ms. Rishita Parihar, Research Assistant at Dr. B. Lal Institute of Biotechnology. Actively involved in waste management initiatives such as composting, waste segregation, and the vision of a zero-waste campus, Ms. Parihar shared practical insights on how small lifestyle changes—like avoiding unnecessary ironing, reducing travel, and switching off electrical appliances—can contribute significantly to saving the planet. She also elaborated on the composting process using specially designed trash bins created by her institute and encouraged students to adopt these sustainable practices. The session inspired participants to take conscious steps towards building a greener and more responsible future.
