IIIM Concludes Mosaic–Montage 2026 with Inspiring LEAD Talks

The International School of Informatics & Management (IIIM) successfully concluded Mosaic–Montage 2026: Euphony with an impactful LEAD Talks – Alumni Leadership, Insights and Impact session on 31 January 2026, bringing the annual fest to a thoughtful and inspiring close.

The programme commenced with a warm opening by Vandana, followed by a visually engaging video presentation capturing key moments from MosaicMontage. Mr. Amit Gupta, Chairperson, IIIM, in his opening address, shared reflections on his own leadership journey and emphasized the enduring values of humility, teamwork, strong work ethics, and purposeful excellence, urging students to remain grounded while continuously striving for personal and professional growth.

During the fest, a solemn and graceful homage was paid to the revered Founder, Dr. Ashok Gupta in recognition of his visionary leadership, invaluable contributions, and the strong institutional foundation he so thoughtfully established. The moment stood as a heartfelt tribute to his enduring legacy, with his ideals continuing to guide and inspire the academic community.

The LEAD Talks session was engagingly moderated by Dr. Akshay Jain, President, IIIM Alumni Association (IIIMAA), whose incisive questions and seamless facilitation encouraged reflective dialogue, candid insights, and active student participation.

The distinguished alumni panel featured accomplished leaders from diverse professional domains:

  • Dr. PrernaSahni, Executive Editor, Dainik Bhaskar
  • Mr. Anoop Singh Saluja, Regional Head – Assets, ICICI Bank
  • Mr. Saurabh Madra, Head – Credit, Clix Capital
  • Mr. Kapil Bhargava, Partner, Neo Apparels
  • Mr. Lokesh Yadav, Senior Project Manager, Infosys
  • Mr. Nikhil Jain, Senior Vice President, YES Bank

The speakers shared powerful leadership perspectives, underscoring the importance of maximizing ROTI—Return on Time Invested—through focus, discipline, and prioritization. Procrastination was identified as a major barrier to growth, with emphasis placed on accountability, consistent action, and value-driven decision-making. Across discussions, the relevance of relationships, empathy, effective communication, and humility emerged as central to sustainable leadership.

A recurring theme throughout the session was the significance of Social Quotient (SQ)—highlighting emotional intelligence, relationship-building, and ethical conduct as indispensable complements to technical expertise in an increasingly AI-driven world.

Sharing his insights, Mr. Lokesh Yadav emphasized the importance of continuous learning and the mindset ofevolving every day. He highlighted that learning comes from everyone and everywhere, urging students to dream big, set clear goals, and recognize that leadership is earned through sustained effort and resilience rather than position alone.

Dr. PrernaSahni reflected on the foundational learning instilled by the Founder of IIS Educational Institutions, Dr. Ashok Gupta Sir, noting how the intrinsic power of innovation shaped her professional journey. She expressed a strong belief that AI can neverreplace the emotional and social quotient of human beings, reinforcing the need for leaders to invest deeply in EQ and SQ. She emphasized thatanything is possible when perspective is right, adding that leaders stay young at heart through lifelong learning. She also highlighted that meaningful relationships are never about give and take, but always about creating win–win connections.

Mr. Nikhil Jain spoke on the importance of flexibility, stressing that dreams must be action-oriented to translate into outcomes. He emphasized selflessness in relationships, noting that leadership maturity lies in putting collective success above individual gain.

Highlighting the human dimension of leadership, Mr. Anoop Singh Saluja remarked that “people make you a leader.” He encouraged students to shift focus from self to others, to take people along, and reiterated that relationships cannot be replaced by AI, regardless of technological advancement.

Reinforcing the value of connection, Mr. Saurabh Madra stated that network is net worth.Building on this, he highlighted that leadership credibility is shaped by trust, consistency, and long-term relationships, not short-term gains. He emphasized that while AI can enhance efficiency and analytics, judgment, relationship capital, and ethical responsibility remain inherently human strengths—making leaders who balance technology with human insight truly future-ready.

Addressing the theme of relationships versus situationship, Mr. Kapil Bhargava firmly opined that leadership is always anchored in relationships. He stressed that leaders need strong people around them and cautioned against the illusion of self-sufficiency, strongly urging students to never believe that ‘one can do everything alone.’

The session was led by the thought-provoking questions posed by Dr. Akshay Jain, prompting reflection on non-linear career paths, leadership assumptions, the tension between ambition and values, and capabilities that will remain resilient over the next decade. Rapid-fire rounds on habits, books, under-prioritized skills, early-career mistakes, and evolving definitions of success offered candid and practical wisdom. He also suggested that one should not take themselves for granted.

The interactive Q&A segment allowed students to seek guidance on career decisions, leadership development, and workplace realities.

The LEAD Talks session emerged as a powerful platform for inspiration, reflection, and alumni engagement—reinforcing IIIM’s commitment to holistic education and enduring alumni–institution collaboration, and concluding Mosaic–Montage 2026 on a deeply meaningful note.
