Wellness Booth Marks World Mental Health Day
The Centre for Health and Happiness and COPE Club, an initiative of Mpower (Aditya Birla Education Trust), organised a Wellness Booth at the IIIM Campus on 12 October 2026 to mark World Mental Health Day. Based on the theme “Unpack the Baggage,” the booth featured interactive activities promoting self-reflection, mindful expression, emotional awareness, and healthy stress management, fostering a supportive and empathetic campus community. More than 200 students benefited from the initiative.
Activities at the booth
- Wall of Thoughts – Then, Now & Next: Students wrote anonymous notes to their past, present, and future selves, reflecting on where they have been and what to carry forward.
- Carry Forward!: Students completed “After unpacking, I choose to carry…” with a value, learning that well-being also means intentionally building a positive mindset.
- Stress Bucket Challenge: Students matched common stressors with coping strategies, learning that stressors may be unavoidable but healthy ways to cope are a choice.
- Mandala Art – Mindful Expression: Mindful colouring gave students a mental pause and a non-verbal way to express and regulate emotions.
- What’s In Your Bag? (Tote Bag Painting): Students painted tote bags showing what they chose to unpack and carry forward, making space for hope, self-compassion, and support.
Participants explored what they wish to unpack and what they choose to carry forward, leaving with a lasting reminder that caring for one’s mind is a journey best taken together.
