Youth Jumbish 2026: Happiness Carnival

Youth Jumbish 2026, themed “Beyond Self: Exploring Communities That Hold Us,” was organised by Pravah in collaboration with Samutthan – The NSS Cell and the COPE club of IIIM. The Happiness Carnival took place on 24 October 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at IIIM, Jaipur.

The afternoon brought together a rich mix of creative and expressive experiences. Participants shaped ideas through touch in a hands-on clay art activity, while Drum Circle India, led by Shreya Guleria, created a shared rhythm that encouraged listening and togetherness. Kythera Bhakti Band performed Kabir songs, and Chavi Jain’s poetry invited reflection. Chalchitra Patkatha presented a theatre performance, and Surbhi, a dance movement therapist, led a movement-based session.

Together, these art forms offered multiple ways to express, listen and connect. They reflected the central idea of the event: that people can connect with themselves and others through shared creative experiences, and that communities grow stronger when they make space for diverse voices.

The carnival reinforced the value of creating spaces where young people can engage with creativity, culture and one another. Future editions could build on this approach through participatory workshops, facilitated group reflections and post-event feedback surveys.
