CALL FOR PAPERS


• Participants are invited across disciplines including Philosophy, Sanskrit & Hindi Literature etc. to submit their abstracts/posters relevant to the theme(s) of the Conference. Abstracts for oral presentation (300-500 words; excluding author names and affiliations) and full length paper (4000 words) in, Times New Roman, MS-Word 2007/ 2010, Font Size-12, should be submitted at iiim@icfia.org.
• Submissions are welcome on topics including but not limited to the following:
1. Gita in Modern Day Management
2.Instilling Moral Values and Ethics through Bhagavad Gita Instilling Right Attitude through Bhagavad Gita
3.Perception Management through Bhagavad Gita
4. Stress Management through Bhagavad Gita
5.Balancing Emotional Quotient through Bhagavad Gita
6. Gita in Family Dynamics
• Selected quality papers presented in the conference will be considered for publication in Oorja, International Journal of Management & IT, ISSN (print) 0974-7869, ISSN (online) 2395-6771 subject to approval through the Double Blind Peer Review process.

COMPETITION GUIDELINES


1. The event has two levels:
I Social Media Engagement
II Gita Wisdom Quiz
2. The competition is open for participation to all the regular students of the institutes.
3. Every participant will prepare a video on learnings from Srimad Bhagwad Gita and will explain the applicability. Submissions of Interdisciplinary nature is also allowed. It is mandatory to display the provided backdrop' in the beginning and the end of video prepared by participants (flyer itself is a backdrop). MP4/MKV/MOV are the only video formats acceptable.
4. The participants will also demonstrate or explain the verse and its applicability in the subject during the video of 3-5
5. Preparation of content, shooting of video, its editing etc. shall be done by the participant.
6. The nomination of the participants will be duly recommended by their Institute / College along- with an undertaking by the participant that the video submitted for the competition is his/her original work.
7. Videos will be evaluated in terms of the content, presentation, technical quality and engagement (views, likes, shares, comments, etc.)
8. The criteria for final evaluation, is proposed as:-
a) Content of video-30%
b) Presentation of Video-20%
c) Technical Quality-10%
d) Engagement (views, likes, shares, comments)-10%
9. A team of experts will thoroughly evaluate the video content based on the specified criteria.
10. The Gita Wisdom Quiz is scheduled to take place at the ISIM campus on January 22 at 9:00 a.m.
